  i don't know if you're familiar with maggots, but when you see a whole bunch of them it's not a pleasant sight.. .

  I noticed that a lot if not all JWs I watch on FB now have private Freinds and photos

  some have done it for a while but in the last couple of years most all of the jws from my old congregation and others i know have privatized the fb and other social pages.

  i wonder if its just happenstance or if its come down from on high to shut this off to further keep them isolated from the apostates?.

  a few years back some of us had a bit of fun on a jw facebook dating site. i ended up having my facebook account shut down. still got 2 others though.

  has anyone seen the 2017 movie apostasy?

  set in britain, the story is about a family, a single mom and her two daughters, who are jehovah's witnesses.

  i'm not going to give away too much of the plot, but holy moly!

  first off all you have to do is cross the border and buy a car.

  if they will not let you license it in the state then many will license it out of state.

  ban private car ownership altogether. limit travel to essential journeys only.

  so my 88 mil died and was the epitome of a faithful sister.

  my wife and her sister are members of the congregation for 40+ years.

  to be fair it was short notice but we had the showing and visitation and only about 12 out of 120 of the congregation showed up and only 1 elder!

  Biahi12 hours agoI’m dreading when my mom goes, a born in 84 year old that won’t believe anything I tell her because it’s all “ apostate lies”. I would like to express to whatever elder gives the talk, in DO NOT WANT an infomercial for the watchtower.

  so--if youre the one left to organise the funeral--why even involve the cult ?
